as iTunes Exclusive

Callann Lane, Christmas This Year

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- Levity Records pop artist Callann Lane (formerly known as Cali) has released her sophomore project Christmas This Year as an iTunes exclusive. Produced by Darrell Vanzant and Chuck Butler, and mixed by GRAMMY® Award winner Steve Hodge (Janet Jackson, TLC, Usher, Mariah Carey), the 6-song Christmas EP is loaded with a mixture of Christmas classics like "Let It Snow" and "Carol of the Bells," plus soon to be classic originals and an energetic cover of Madonna's 1983 hit "Holiday."

Christmas This Year was originally recorded and released in 2007 by non-profit Gifts in Kind, with 25,000 copies sold as an exclusive CD release through 1400 Ronald McDonald Houses, 125 children's hospitals and military bases nationwide. This year, the album will be available to everyone through a new agreement with iTunes.com.

Fans around the country have had ample chances to check out Callann Lane's live show, thanks to numerous Radio Disney live events, a co-headlining spot on last year's JUMP5 tour (along with PureNRG, Carried Away and Jessie Daniels), the 2007 Camplified Tour (sponsored by Fender, Sonic Bids and PopStar! Magazine) and the SHOUTfest Tour, where she shared the stage with such artists as Krystal Meyers, Building 429 and Superchic[k].

Callann Lane's debut album, Cali, was originally released exclusively through WalMart in July 2007, before expanding to retail stores nationwide. Cali spawned 3 R &R Christian CHR Top 20 hits, an R&R Mainstream AC Top 30 hit and the #4 most spun video ("Get Up") on Gospel Music Channel in 2007. Callann was featured in a GapKids in-store music campaign and a Charlotte Russe in-store Christmas campaign, and she has been a featured artist on Radio Disney, MyCoke.com and SeventeenMagazine.com.
